Monica Ramírez-Peñuela has been in the education field for 20 years, with a recognized trajectory in both the public and private sector in Colombia and in the United States. Her starting point was in 2005, when she was selected as the Teacher of the Year in the Houston Independent School District. Moving upward exponentially, she continued a successful career to achieve a director position with the Ministry of National Education in Colombia in charge of excellence in education quality at the Preschool, Elementary, and High School levels. She is currently the principal of the New Cambridge School in Bucaramanga, Colombia highlighted as one of the best bilingual schools in the country. Her passion is to provide excellence in education for all students by supporting their learning process and wellbeing.
